It all started with a photo...a photo of the first belt we made for riders on Team Radioshack Leopard Trek...it went viral on Twitter and piqued the public's interest.
Back then, Matthew Busche perfectly captured our happy spirits with his hilarious photo of his new Schwalbe "Ultremo HT" BUCK!T belt, worn over his full lycra team kit!
It seemed almost too good to be true when we found one last offcut of those RSLT team-issue tyres (ridden during the 2013 Tour Downunder), when tidying up our store a few weeks ago, just as we were approaching our third birthday!
So we've taken that tyre & sewn up a limited range (of only six!) of our popular micro-wallets; each one is numbered and contains a commemorative card with our story...grab yourself a piece of BUCK!T's history before they're all sold out!

It all started three years ago...
James Raison (@RideAdelaide) came to the BUCK!T studio to get an insight into the work and care that goes into making one of our products. In this case, it was his latest custom belt to celebrate his recent epic 'non-stop' ride from Melbourne to Adelaide.
When I set out to create BUCK!T, it was always with the intention that the design, quality and finish would be of the highest order. Almost anyone can make a belt out of a tyre (though I challenge you to give it a go - it's not as easy as some have thought!), however, to make it really well takes skill, patience & attention to detail. These are the attributes that my returning customers have noticed and appreciated.
Of course watchbelts take this to another level again, but that's for another article!

We are very proud to welcome Lydia Boylan as a BUCK!T ambassador.
Lydia is the current Irish Road champion, for the second consecutive year!
A previous (multiple!) national title holder on the track, and current member of the Irish team pursuit squad; whilst competing on the road for Team WNT Cycling.
Lydia has been wearing our products for a while now (look for her green/black wristbelt in photos!); but we thought it was high time to take things to a new level and provide her with a selection of our accessories to use & wear regularly - including a very special version of our popular microwallet in Irish-colours!

We were super excited to personally present a special one-off MICROwallet in the world champion colours to Peter Sagan at the Tour Downunder, last week in Adelaide!
Having handmade this unique wallet, we wondered if it would really be possible to get it to the man himself; but with some cunning tactics and sprinter-like agility we negotiated the tram/road crossing mayhem, the rainbow-jersey-signature hunters, and numerous selfie-takers to intercept Mr.Sagan just before he entered the hotel!
He then listened patiently as I explained the wallet to him, before posing for a photo.
It gets even better...at the TDU after party, Peter was seen pulling his brand new wallet (stuffed full of cash!) out of his rear pocket to pay for a round of drinks! Woohoo!
BUCK!T meets Peter Sagan!!!
We were very honoured when Julie Barnes of Leigh Street Luggage (Adelaide) approached us a few weeks ago about stocking our microwallets in her store! Apparently the story goes that "a customer pulled out his BUCK!T wallet to pay for his purchase and she asked him where he'd got such an interesting looking item..."
Julie's store is full of amazingly designed and well-constructed items, including some of the best luggage you can buy, so we're chuffed to be part of it now!
We got stuck in making a limited range of six styles; including black/kevlar (Gatorskin like snakeskin!); Classic tan-walls (Conti' GIRO & a 1980's Wolber tubular!) as well as some more colourful versions (red-stripe & bright interiors).

Hello there from Craig & Jamaica!
We recently returned from an absolutely amazing cycling holiday in Europe.
Jamaica put loads of work into planning travel, routes and places to stay; ensuring that our trip went as well as it possibly could - research is the key!!
We started off in Girona, Catalunya (city of pro-cyclists!), then rode across (very windy) France and into Italy, before settling down in Florence - a great base for the next month of rides in and around Tuscany. We watched the Giro from a 16km pass; ventured to Sienna, St. Gimignano & Volterra and rode our bikes to the highest local point of 1455m at Secchieta (a 23km climb!) and still could have done more!

In response to a regular customer's requirements - he was heading overseas and needed something a little more featured than his current MICROwallet, but still as small & slim - we designed a hybrid wallet that brings together our popular MICRO & MINImicro wallets.
We're pleased to introduce the latest member of our family - the MICROplus!
